Course Offerings
Students will receive a firm foundation of specification, operation,
programming and troubleshooting the Mitsubishi PLC. All classes (2-9
students) are hands on and on site.
1: Thirty-two Hour Beginner and
Intermediate Level "A" Series Class.
- Two member student teams share a training cell.
- Maximum of six students per class.
- Can start Monday or Tuesday on any shift.
- $750.00 per student..
2: Twenty-four Hour Beginner and
Intermediate Level FX PLC Class.
Two or Three member student teams share a training
cell.
Maximum of nine students per class.
Can start Monday through Wednesday on any shift.
$600.00 per student.
3: Twenty-four Hour Combination
Refresher and Advanced Subject for "A" Series or FX PLC.
- Previous PLC class recommended.
- Advanced subjects are specific to student needs.
- Can start on Monday through Wednesday on any
shift.
- $600.00 per student.
4: Forty Hour "The Works"
Class.
- Same as thirty-two hour class with additional subjects
covered.
- Subjects may include linking, analog, computer
interface, motor control, positioning, and auto diagnostics.
- $930.00 per student.
5: Twenty-four Hour Basic Electrical
Trouble-Shooting Class for All Maintenance Personnel.
This hands-on class brings any maintenance student up
to speed on understanding and trouble-shooting the electrical support
components, including input and output devices, that operate in the background
of all automated systems. Lab sessions will include panel and hardwire
hook-ups and testing to include:
Push buttons, pilot lights, air, hydraulic and electric
solenoids and valves, motor control, relay logic, power supplies, photo eyes,
prox sensors, etc.Simple automation "tricks"
and standard hook-ups will include power fail protection, surge protection, and
opto isolation.
$500.00 per student; two to twelve students per
class.
Note: The programming device used in the
classroom can be the standard GPP/PHP or lap top/desktop computers using MEDOC
software.
Special scheduling is available for week-end classes,
split student 1/2 day classes and combination FX "A" or other automation
classes.
