About Us

Covenant Christian Home School Support Service offers a Spirit filled, 3-day homeschool support service program. Core curriculum subjects are taught on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and additional assignments are made to assist parents for the rest of the week.

Modern school systems with age-segregated classrooms create an artificial social environment that will rarely be duplicated once the child leaves school. The Biblical norm for natural socialization was the extended family. Children learned from interaction with their parents, siblings, and extended family. Generally, their role models were older, more mature individuals who encouraged them to behave responsibly. Covenant Christian Homeschool Support Services' classroom groups children, rather than segregating children by age. The younger students mimic and learn from the older. Conversely, in a traditional, age-segregated classroom, children tend to mimic their peers, which multiplies and reinforces immature habits and behavior.

Believing that the family is the Biblical model for effective education, the school encourages parents to educate their children at home. One of the school's goals is to assist parents with this process.

Covenant Christian Homeschool Support Service provides a learning environment that fosters natural, multi-level socialization while laying a strong academic foundation. In the multi-grade classroom, older students help and encourage younger students and both levels benefit from the experience. Students are able to begin at their own level of proficiency and progress from there. Because the school believes that mastery of reading skills and basic math facts is essential, we use daily exercises to sharpen those skills.

For a more complete description of the program, please e-mail Mrs. Profitt (K-7) at for more information. I would be happy to answer your questions.
